This course will outline the basics of candidacy, compliance, campaigns, and communications in two dense and impactful days.

About Candidate Bootcamp

Leveraging Local Leaders identifies, recruits, and trains a diverse and promising group of citizen leaders who are committed to vibrant local economies in Colorado’s communities to run for office or otherwise engage meaningfully in local politics giving them the tools to be successful servants and their constituents effective policy-makers. We provide expert training and mentorship on how to run for office, while educating on top public policy issues to ensure citizens are prepared to run and govern well.

What you’ll learn

    You will learn the full process of running for office, from declaring your candidacy to navigating the election cycle. You’ll gain hands-on strategies to launch your campaign and build a strong team to support your success.

  • Compliance and Legal Considerations

    You will understand the legal framework behind campaigns, including campaign finance laws, reporting requirements, and local election regulations. This will ensure you run a compliant campaign and adhere to all necessary legal standards.

  • Campaign Strategy and Management
